Different Machines: Bailer and Baler

Image
It is a common phenomenon to observe people getting confused between the related terms ‘baler’ or ‘bailer’ Though they might sound similar and pronounced exactly in the same manner, yet these are completely different things. They both have specific functions and compositions to offer as the services to the world. Let us have a review of what they are and what is the difference between them. What is a Baler? When we talk of a “Baler”, it is mostly popular in the agricultural fields or recycling world. It is one of the significant machinery contributing to the noble cause of minimizing the waste generation. It does so by reducing or compressing the different kind of wastes into some form, which can then be reused or recycled for some other purpose. The waste materials like cardboard, paper, plastic bottles, wood shavings, plant fiber, textiles, hay, straw, paddy, cotton, silage, to name a few, can be cut or raked to smaller forms or particles with the use of a baler. The compressed ...

Difference between single shaft shredder and double shaft shredder

Image
What is the difference between single shaft shredder and double shaft shredder? Both  single shaft shredder and double shaft shredder are commonly used in waste recycling field, but they are different in a few aspects. 1.  Machine structure is different: Single Shaft Shredder is equipped with only one shaft with rotary blades, a hydraulic-driven pusher plate/arm, and a screen underneath the rotating shaft. Double Shaft Shredder is built with two shafts of blades, which we also call dual shearing shafts. There is no hydraulic-driven pusher or screen on this machine. 2.  The application of material is different: Single Shaft Shredder is mainly applied to shred thick and solid materials such as molding purgings/runners/sprues, plastic pallets, rubber rolls, wood lumbers, tree branches, bones, wood pallets, etc. Double Shaft Shredder normally is used to shred small to large sized relatively light or hollow products, such car/truck tires,...

UK Hydraulic Horizontal Baling System, with Good efficiency and high throughout

Image
Unlike the vertical balers that process or compress materials under a vertical downward force, horizontal balers work in a different way. When materials are fed into horizontal baler hopper and hopper is full, a ram will compress the material under the horizontal force until the bale is complete. In most cases, horizontal baler has conveying system for easy material feeding. If it is an automatic horizontal baler, the bale can be tied off with wires and ejected automatically. So it is very efficient. Horizontal balers advantages Disregard of price and machine size, horizontal balers have some good advantages over vertical balers. – Higher Output Horizontal baler can process materials into larger bales which vertical baler may difficult to achieve. Also horizontal baler is much easier to work with more efficient feeding system like conveyor. So horizontal baler can have higher baling output than vertical baler’s. You can see fully automatic balers are all horiz...

Waste wood recycling

Image
Waste wood is a precious resource that is available in large volumes and may be used either for material recycling or energy production, depending on the quality grade. The rising cost of waste material disposal and a growing consciousness for the environment also contribute to the increasing importance of waste wood recycling. The term “waste wood” includes all woods and wood-based materials that have come to the end of their product lifespan and are thus considered waste. We offer you innovative, highly economical single-step shredding concepts for the recovery of your waste wood, upon request also with metal separation. Units are available as stationary or mobile versions. Low operating costs, extremely low fines and foreign object protection paired with high performance are the key factors in the success of ENERPAT  waste wood shredders. Minimized  dust and noise levels benefit your employees, your neighbors  – and ultimately also the environment! Processed for t...

How to Start a Wood Shavings Business

Image
Wood shavings are a staple in barns everywhere. Used in stalls and pens, wood shavings are comfortable for animals to rest on, absorb urine and are easy to clean up. They can also be easily composted, instead of sent to a landfill. Pure wood shavings, meaning those without plywood or chemicals, can also be used for mulch at the base of trees and in gardens. Check with your local authorities and find out if there are any restrictions to you starting a business from your home. You may need to apply for a permit. If you intend to build a separate building to store your wood shavings, you will need a building permit. Research your market.  Go to your local feed stores and garden centers as well as other area stores that sell animal bedding and mulch. Ask the store owners or managers from where they get their supply. Find out if they could use a good, local source of shavings. Also ask what they are paying for their current supply. Since you are more local, you may be...
